If life was a car, my life would be way easier.

situ, my GF just got suspended from a apprenticeship program if you will. She is apprenticing to become a old person care worker. It is a gov subsidy prog,

A hole at work slash apprenticeship thing got on her, told her she aint good for shyte, wont ever last etc, etc.

My mind is to go see the a hole and give him a piece of my mind. But my other mind told me that this would not be a good thing.

I need advice, how do you deal with bullies?

Normally, I reacted in the past, now not so much cuz I am involved in my trade and nobody really second guess me.

My girl friend came home the other crying and was ready to give all those efforts up. I went ballistic.

Not on her mind you, but it was disconcerting to say the least.

I go to work every day, for the last 30 or so yrs. I have apprentices all the time. Never would I say things to the effect my gf was subjected to.

Should I get involved or stay out of it?

Cuz if it was me, this man/boy/child would be under in 2.

should I let my 46 yr old gf deal with it? I think she has to, but lately, she just seems down, not energized, and I feel this a hole got to her somehow.

BTW, as usual. I normally have my own answers, but seeing my girl cry for some insignificant a hole pisses me off and wreaks havoc on home life. So where do I draw the the line?

Thx in advance

That a hole has a supervisor, too. You start making a lot of noise about gender and age discrimination. No joy? Try with your political reps and go to the local elder-care orgs, let them know how new recruits are being discouraged. See if a local news (TV, radio, print) org is having a slow day. Even take to all that "social media" blather. Do not go get physical with him!

PS: I think a lot of what I suggested is wrongly used, but I assume your GF really is in the right here.

PPS: My perception is that senior-care can have some rough and thankless moments, this may be just one of them.

If you know about a different "bad thing" that the bully did (that did not concern your girlfriend) here is a suggestion. Write an anonymous letter to the bully's boss and complain about the "different bad thing" that the bully did. Drive to a different town and mail it at that post office.
