Degreaser for clothes

The job I’ve been doing lately involves cleaning up transmissions and that involves grinding corrosion off with air metal brush tools / spraying things off with carb cleaner and then painting them.

so when I’m doing things like pulling the torque converter out there’s a good chance I end up kneeling in transmission fluid from either taking it out or putting in back in so I was wondering if there is a good laundry product or stain remover for removing the fluid stains from jeans or t-shirts

Engines as well. Mostly engines and some transmissions. So whatever product that can be recommended as a laundry stain fighter would be helpful

I also use this stuff when it is available at my local. My GF likes the scent better than the fast orange.

The bucket is close a bone slash a hundred, but it goes a long way.

Dare I admit it? All my "daily" clothes are stained, and have been for the last 65 years! That's been my lifestyle, working on things. I never have to search for a rag to wipe my hands on, I wear them.

PS: I think my wife relies on that Oxyclean stuff...

Luckily every shop I worked in provided and washed our uniforms weekly. My wife did not appreciate grease in her machine!!

I once had ball point pen leak onto my only dress shirt. I thought what the heck, it's ruined any way; sprayed it with Berryman B-12 Chemtool.

However, I can't imaging trying to stay upright after spraying a huge, red stain and breathing that large amount of Chemtool.

I never understood how some significant others put up with allowing the cleaning engine parts in their dishwashers.

Thanks for the tip. You guys had a show out of Canada some years ago called the red Greene show that Myself and my other co-US friends really loved . did you ever happen to catch that show? Red would often say if the women don’t find you handsome at least let them find you handy.
