Brake, ABS light, traction control light 2011 Honda Accord

Update: Fixed? Possibly so. The dealership confirmed the 3211 code and diagnosed the problem as a defective brake module. They also identified the VTEC screen leaking oil and a dry rotted intake boot. They replaced those three items and so we shall see. Wondering if I could have caused the...

Brake, ABS light, traction control light 2011 Honda Accord

Update: A reputable shop diagnosed and confirmed the module is bad. Bad news is that with the programming requirements, etc. they will be unable to perform the job. Suggested a trip to the dealership.

Tried one store and his tool wouldn't pick up any brake related codes. Tried another store and his Actron tool picked up the same code, 32-11. His suggestion was to try cleaning the speed sensor connectors at each wheel.

Brake, ABS light, traction control light 2011 Honda Accord

Yep, planning to have it scanned by another parts store. Today the lights reappeared while I was sitting in a line at a drive through. They went off again after shutting off and restarting the car.

Cant find much info regarding the solenoid. Dealer parts guy said he is not familiar with a solenoid.....but said it is usually the modulator....which is $1400....does that sound like the same part?

Brake, ABS light, traction control light 2011 Honda Accord

Update: One of the local auto parts stores scanned with their tool and found a stored code of 32-11, ABS Solenoid Valve Malfunction. Does this sound like the failure? All lights are still off.

Would the computer have stored the code(s) even now that the lights have gone off?

Thanks! I am certainly of the thought that problems don't usually just disappear on their own.

Today on the dash the brake light, ABS light, and little what I call the anti skid light came on, traction control? Fluid seems to be ok. Any ideas? Update: Cycled the car off, plugged in my cheap OBD reader, nothing. Started the car back up and the lights are off. Thanks in advance.

    2018 Acura Oil Leak Dilemma

We'll see. I am going to be under the rack with the tech early Thursday am. I am told that he admitted it and claims there was a miscommunication. Yeah, right! He supposedly removed and resealed the timing chain cover. To add insult to injury, this is their top top, shop foreman, the "go to"...

    2018 Acura Oil Leak Dilemma

I have a draft letter to Acura Corp office in the works. This is fraudulent and plain ole theft IMO....charging for work that was not performed.

    2018 Acura Oil Leak Dilemma

Thanks! Point taken. I feel like I should at least get extended warranty coverage for the repair(s) in question performed by this rogue technician. Do you think that is something that either the dealership of Acuracare would do?

    2018 Acura Oil Leak Dilemma

Update: Just put the car on ramps and yes, there is a spacer between the pan and the block. Is that the upper oil pan? I searched very hard to find where the tech smeared Hondabond. Turns out it appears that he smeared it around a bolt on the timing chain cover, upper left side facing the...

Not that I recall. I am going to put the car on ramps today and get underneath and make another observation.
