Oil pressure sender location

    Cuz, if it is coding, you are EGR equipped. If not, Bill and I are also going to be in the weeds.:giveup:$.02:bat:

    I was mainly "in the weeds" about diesels not using EGR. Obviously, I know nothing about this type of engine!

    This is a Duramax diesel in a Kodiak. Hard to find good info on the truck, but the engine should be the same as other GM pickups. They do indeed have an EGR system. I'm wondering about a stuck check valve in the oil filter causing the high pressure. Have you tried another oil filter?
