2001 Honda Odyssey, 3.5L V6, 72000 miles. I've had the Check Engine light on for some time, sometimes accompanied by the TCS light. OBDII reader says P0401 "EGR Flow Insufficient". My mechanic first attempted to clean the port, then replaced the EGR valve (ouch!). The llights are shining bright again, within 15 miles of leaving the shop. I've been checking around, and have found a reference to NHTSA service bulletin SB615781, which looks like it might be related.

    Here's the summary from http://www.odyclub.com/tech/tsbh01.htm

    Service Bulletin Number: 161000
    Bulletin Sequence Number: 157
    Date of Bulletin: 0010
    NHTSA Item Number: SB615781
    Make: HONDA TRUCK
    Model: ODYSSEY
    Year: 2001
Component: EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR VALVE)
Summary: INFORMATION REGARDING P0401, LOW EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION VALVE (EGR) FLOW. *TT

Any suggestions or information on how to proceed would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Mike Monette
