Please fill out the following to ask a question.

    MAKE: Honda
    MODEL: Accord
    YEAR: 2002
    MILES:
    ENGINE: I-4
    DESCRIBE ISSUE....

I need to get the inner driver's-door panel off. Any good info on how to go about that? The power window is inop (stuck down, of course). The motor is responding to the switch as normal, you can hear the motor moving the mechanism "up-down" just fine; so this must be a mechanical issue that has to be fixed from inside the door.

Thanks for trying, but it is a "general procedure", not specific to this vehicle. I can get the panel off, no doubt, but would like to do it with as little experimenting and damage to the flimsy plastic parts as possible. I'll be attacking this fairly late this evening, before it heads back for the work-week. You guys still have all day to help me...

Push, pull, poke, bend, experiment and probably break something. I know you already know that, I just couldn't resist the comment. Good luck

Yep, one way or another the window has to get up tonight. It can't be parked with an open window at the apartment or work for a week.

From my limited experience, open door panel, use wd40 or other an lubricate the channels.

If it works for girls, it works for window. An amp claw can see how much amp are pulling, But from experience, need to dissemble

My $.02 is probably worth nothing, but if you try to give and ttake for this windiw rail, it will come back to bite in the arse.
