Have an older Mccoullgh chain saw .Will not start , have repaced the fuel line, and rebuilt the walbro carb , It will start and run when i dump a little gas in the carb bit then it will just die like it runs out of gas .Any ideas ?

Found a small hole in the fuel line ,fouled plug and adjusted the carb .Now seems to run fine  .If anyone is interested FYI
