Today, window moved downward about halfway, so it is time not to delay this. Removed inner panel. I noticed the cable is not connected anywhere to the track; it is freely inside the door. Where does the cable attach? Alldatadiy is a disappointment for this jeep, it shows two inner vertical rails but this jeep has only one. Also, no clear pictures of attachments points for cable.
Thanks for anymore help on this.

Took the inner panel off again and I was wrong in earlier post: the cable is attached to the backside of the vertical rail at the top. The end of the cable lies in the door and moves based on the upward/downward movement of the window. I have temporarily blocked the window upward with a small block of wood to keep it from moving downward while driving.
Question: What is the failure that is causing the window to move slowly downward while driving? I can also move the window down using my hands without very much effort. What part is bad and can this individual part be replaced or does the entire regulator need replacement?
Motor operators but does not move the window; a ginding/rubbing sound is heard when window switch is pressed.
Will plan on working on this when heatwave is over. AC works excellent on the Jeep so no big rush to fix.
Alldata is a big disappointment on this. thanks for any help.
