Transmission was rebuilt a year ago this month.  Was told that I need to change the transmission fluid twice afterwords inorder to flush out any metal that came off the new parts.  Changed it one month after got the blazer, but I'm in school and barely scraping by, I didnt have 110 dollars to get another change adn wasn't going to especially when I had been told by numberous people it was not ness..  So about 3 weeks ago, I had someone test the current in the cig lighter b/c it wasn't working, when they did it blew the fuse, and then when we replaced the fuse with a bigger one the cig lighter began to smoke when it was tested the 2nd time (immediately it started to smoke).  So 2 weeks ago the gas guage went out, and then about 3 days ago the car started to have problems shifting up from 2nd to 3rd when going up hills and this morning it had gotten to the point where you had to barely push on the gas and let it get locked in before it would keep going up.  but it just misses the next gear and revs up not fast or anything.  just completely misses the gear.  Reverse is the same, you have to be light on the gas and then if its on a hill neither reverse or 1st will work.  Its an automatic and I'm praying its something electrical or the filter is clogged.  Do you have any ideas?  Thanks - Brandon
