I have a homelite xl little red chain saw , a couple questions ,
1. where do i start with the mixture screws ?
2. the gas cap has a primer on it , it needs a new one as the primer is cracked , is it necessary to have or can i use a regular cap ? and if so what about the hose attached to it ? ?
3. if i give it a shot of carb cleaner it starts and quits ? ?
Thanks !

i just replaced my fuel lines, but my primer bulb was good. fuel and oil lines are usually a culprit to no starts or no oil. i use wd40 for two strokes, remove the air cleaner (clean with wd40), spray for 5 seconds in carb opening, with switch off pull rope ten times, spray again, pull again, replace air cleaner, and with good fire it started.
