I am looking to purchase a diesel pickup in the 2000-2005 range.  I am leaning towards the Ram because of the Cummins engine.  I have read about some problems with Ford's 6.0L and GM's front end issues.  Any input at this point would be great as I am new to the diesel world.

2000 Powerstroke would be my choice. The 7.3 is a great engine.
