Hi,  I have a 1996 4700 with the 190 HP 444 diesel.  The motor will not start.  The problem has been developing for a few thousand miles as initially the motor would "miss" for a second once in a while.  Then it began to not start every once in a while.  It would start, then shut it off and try again and no start for 2 or 3 tries then on the fourth it would start again.  Now it is DOA.  Everything else works electrically.  I went through posts here and checked the fuses in battery box.  I have 2 Ford F350 diesels and know all too well the cam sensor problem.  I replace the cam sensor on the International and still no good.  I also looked at the battery voltage while cranking to see if it went too low to power the control module.  Voltage dropped to about 10.8 VDC while cranking.  I had this problem before with my Fords as well.

I saw a post about diagnostic codes, did the checks and came up with 543, 224  then 543, 615.  Any ideas?  I am guessing 1 code is about the brake hydraulic switch as It is broken and I haven't put the new one in yet.  Any help or opinions would be appreciated.

Thanks!
